Burkina Institute of Technology (BIT) was founded in 2018 in Koudougou, Burkina Faso, with the vision to provide high-quality, practical education tailored to the African context. BIT offers Bachelor's degree programs in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, and Civil Engineering, with a strong focus on entrepreneurship, sustainability, and hands-on learning. As of 2022, the university hosts over 300 students from various regions of Burkina Faso and beyond.
BIT aims to empower a new generation of African engineers and innovators through a modern curriculum, international partnerships, and a deep commitment to solving real-world challenges. With strong ties to local communities and the private sector, the institute contributes to regional development and capacity building in science and technology.
