A Global Network for Sustainable Energy
The TUM SEED Center brings together the Technical University of Munich and ten partner universities across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Together, we foster academic exchange and collaboration in research, teaching, and Living Labs at the intersection of sustainable energies, entrepreneurship, and policy.
Through our international network, we connect researchers, students, and local partners to develop knowledge and solutions that contribute to SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy for All.

One Network, Different Roles
During the 2025-2029 funding phase, the SEED network comprises five Core Partner Universities and five Collaborating Partner Universities. Core Partners take an active role in the governance and strategic development of the Center, while Collaborating Partners contribute to academic exchange, research, teaching, mobility, and Living Lab activities. Together, all partners form an international network built around knowledge exchange, inclusive collaboration, and long-term partnerships.
