Research spotlight: Social media, privacy, and SME performance in Uganda
In one of her most recent studies, Dr. Sendawula explored whether social media competencies and social media privacy matter for the sustainable performance of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda. Drawing on a cross-sectional, mixed-methods design, she collected data from 245 SMEs under the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA) in the central region, complemented by interviews with UMA coordinators and administrators. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS and ATLAS.ti.
