The TUM SEED Center is delighted to announce another exciting opportunity for scholars: a doctoral scholarship in Decentralized Energy Governance in the Global South. This scholarship focuses on the regulatory and participatory governance of decentralized electricity systems and mini-grids, supporting the global mission for clean and affordable energy (SDG 7).
Key Highlights:
🌍 Research focus: Governance of decentralized electricity systems and mini-grids
📆 Duration: 4 years (1 June 2025 – 31 May 2029)

Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Master’s degree in public policy, political science, or related fields (focused on sustainability)
✔️ Excellent academic track record and strong motivation
✔️ Applicants from eligible countries in the Global South (see application form for details)
