The TUM SEED Center was proud to contribute to this year’s Off-Grid Expo + Conference (OEC) 2025 in Augsburg with a dedicated session titled “Scaling Impact: Minigrid Developers and Productive Energy Use,” moderated by Prof. Dr. Frank-Martin Belz, Director of the TUM SEED Center.
The panel brought together experts from policy, academia, and implementation to discuss how decentralized renewable energy can create lasting local impact in the Global South.
Panel speakers included:
- Eng. Mungai Kihara, P.E., Renewable Energy, Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA), Kenya
- Mukabanji Mutanuka, Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL), Zambia
- Prashant Pant, Doctoral Candidate & Research Coordinator, TUM SEED Center
