Nurturing Change Agents: The SEED Center Student Initiative Founder Scholarship

At TUM SEED Center, we believe in the power of innovation and fresh perspectives to drive positive change. That's why we're thrilled to introduce the currently ongoing SEED Center Student Initiative Founder Scholarship Program!

This program is all about empowering our awardees to bring emerging perspectives to the SEED context through creative student-based activities at their universities. We're providing them with a supportive environment to make a real impact.

Mentorship by TU eMpower Africa e.V.: We're excited to announce that TU eMpower Africa e.V. (TUMA), a dynamic organization born from a student initiative, will join us as a mentor to our student founders. Their experiences in tackling real-life challenges for African society would be a fruitful learning for all of our student founders.

This year, all our student initiative founders were invited to meet in person at the SEED Annual Symposium 2023 in Kumasi, Ghana. There, they exchanged ideas, received capacity development activities from TUMA, and sharpen their initiatives into sustainable solutions for their societies.

We're excited to foster these fresh ideas from new minds, knowing they can make a real impact on society, especially in the Global South. Our collaboration with eight partner universities and TU eMpower Africa E.V. continues to yield innovative approaches, from formal academic teaching to dynamic student initiatives.

Together, we're driving change, supporting sustainability, and promoting entrepreneurship for sustainable development. Stay tuned for updates from our scholarship awardees as they embark on this exciting journey!
