OFF-GRID Expo + Conference 2027 in Augsburg
Trade Fair |
The OFF-GRID Expo + Conference is regarded as one of Europe’s leading platforms for decentralized energy supply and off-grid technologies, bringing together academia, industry, policymakers, investors, and practitioners working on renewable energy access and sustainable development. The event focuses on topics such as mini-grids, energy storage, productive use of energy, water-energy-food systems, and local socioeconomic growth.
Following the collaboration at OEC 2025, the TUM SEED Center will contribute two dedicated panel sessions to the 2027 conference program. The panels will continue discussions on sustainable energy entrepreneurship, mini-grid development, and scalable solutions for affordable and clean energy access in the Global South.
As highlighted by Prof. Dr. Frank-Martin Belz, Director of the TUM SEED Center, the collaboration with the OFF-GRID Expo + Conference reflects the Center’s mission to “bridge theory and practice” through academic exchange, interdisciplinary research, and partnerships with actors from industry and policy.
The TUM SEED Center looks forward to continuing the exchange with international partners and contributing to discussions around Sustainable Development Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy for All.
