The TUM SEED Center recently welcomed its exchange students to a dedicated Get-Together, co-organized with the TUM Global & Alumni – Global Exchange Office.
The afternoon began with an insightful guided tour of UnternehmerTUM, where Lara Knödler (former SEED Center project coordinator) introduced participants to Europe’s largest center for innovation and entrepreneurship. The visit offered students a first-hand perspective on how innovative ideas are supported and transformed into impactful ventures within this unique ecosystem.
Following the excursion, students returned to TUM Campus, where Dr. Alessia Argiolas, Research Coordinator at the TUM SEED Center, joined digitally to provide an overview of SEED’s current research activities and opportunities for student engagement.
A key component of the event was the networking session designed to connect two groups of students: those currently completing their exchange semester at TUM as part of the SEED scholarship programme, and TUM students preparing for their upcoming study and research mobility in the Global South. This exchange of perspectives allowed participants to share experiences, insights, and expectations, while strengthening the sense of community within the SEED network.
We thank all students for their active participation and contribution to a meaningful and inspiring afternoon. Events like this demonstrate the value of international exchange and highlight the importance of fostering dialogue between students across regions and academic backgrounds.
