🧪🌱 New Publication in Renewable Energy
A new scientific article by members of the TUM SEED Center research network has been published in the journal Renewable Energy.
Title:
Boosting anaerobic digestion performance: Enhancing stability and methane yield through CO₂ enrichment at high organic loading rates
Authors:
Felix Müller, Mohammad Javad Bardi, Konrad Koch
The article investigates how CO₂ enrichment influences anaerobic digestion systems, an important technology for renewable energy production. Using food waste and maize silage as substrates, the study examines how CO₂ enrichment affects methane production and key process indicators, including hydrogen concentration, oxidation–reduction potential (ORP), and pH stability.
