In the face of global sustainability challenges, TUM SEED is a melting pot for students, scholars and researchers to share inventive concepts and engage in solution-driven studies. The TUM SEED Center conducts research and offers higher education at the intersection of sustainable energies, entrepreneurship, and development (SEED) in the Global South.
The TUM.Africa Talent program, initiated in 2022, is a research exchange initiative that connects talented and highly motivated doctoral candidates from sub-Saharan Africa with professors and fellow doctoral candidates at the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
TUM SEED Center and the TUM Graduate School cordially organize the event "Research with impact in a transforming world – insights from North-South research collaborations. " The event aims to offer a platform for exchange, featuring keynote speeches by Professor Miranda Schreurs and our Academic Director Professor Frank-Martin Belz, as well as spotlights from doctoral candidates on their North-South collaboration, followed by networking opportunities over snacks and drinks. We will delve into the topic of North-South cooperation on an equalin everyday research routines, and our speakers will share their hands-on perspectives from their research projects. Take this opportunity to share your experiences and discuss with your peers what is needed for impactful international research collaborations aimed at addressing global problems.
