🛠 Project Engineer (m/f/d) – Solar PV Hybrid & Offgrid Systems

Location: Munich
Start Date: Q2–Q3 2025
Employment Type: Full-time
Travel: Willingness to travel to Sub-Saharan Africa

This role offers the chance to work on real-world projects in underserved regions, supporting energy access and development through innovative solar PV hybrid and off-grid systems.

Your Tasks

As Project Engineer, you will:

• Plan and design solar PV hybrid and off-grid energy systems
• Use simulation tools like PV*Sol, PVCase, or similar software
• Provide technical support during project implementation (both remote and on-site)
• Prepare technical documentation and system layouts
• Collaborate closely with international project teams, clients, and partners

Your Profile

You are a strong candidate if you have:

• A degree in Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or similar
• First practical experience in PV (e.g., internships, thesis, student jobs)
• Proficiency in PV design software (PV*Sol, PVCase or equivalent)
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (both required)
• Openness to working in intercultural environments and traveling in Sub-Saharan Africa
• A proactive, structured, and independent work style with team spirit
